Kamboi Eagles Football Club has on Wednesday finally return back to winning ways after trashing Anti-Drugs Football Club by 4–0 at the Kenema City Field.

The terrible performances by the club in recent time saw them played three matches thereby picking just one point, on Wednesday Kamboi Eagles made a dramatic come back in the league by crushing Anti Drugs FC by 4 goals to nil in an unprecedented performance.

Two goals from Sylvanus Momodu, Salieu Barrie (PA Joe) and Mohamed T. Bangura separated the two sides in Wednesday match. Kamboi Eagles were held to a 2 all draw by Anti Drugs in Freetown in the first leg of the league.

According to the media, this win has again taken the team to third position with 32 points. Kamboi Eagles next match is on Sunday against second place team, FC KALLON in Kenema. Although the attendance was poor, yet the performance of the team was exceptional.

Other result so far FC Kallon had a draw with East End Tigers 1–1 at the Siaka Steven Stadium in Freetown, which means that lions still leading the Sierra Leone Premier League with three point with FC Kallon playing more games. If Lions win its next match they will take their point tally to six which means they can officially declared them as winners of the 2018/2019 Sierra Leone Premier League going into their last games. In other words if Lions loses their next match they will still be leading the table but had to wait until the final match of the Sierra Leone Premier League.
